A personalised storybook maker. You upload a photo and describe the people you want in the story — your children, your parents, your friends — and it writes and illustrates an original book with them as the characters. You can read it online, listen to it as an audiobook, or export it to print.
How are the characters made to look like my family?
You upload a photo of each person and confirm a short description of them. Those descriptions steer both the writing and the illustrations, so the same characters stay recognisable from one picture to the next.
Does it cost anything to try?
No. You can create 3 illustrated stories free, with a cover, and read them in full. Nothing is charged to try it.
What does a donation unlock?
A $20 donation unlocks a longer book — up to 10 chapters with illustrations throughout, an audiobook, and a shareable link you can send to family.
Where does the money go?
To charity. StoriesWorthGiving is run as a giving project, not a business: the overwhelming majority of every donation is passed on to the charities listed on the site, with only the direct cost of generating a book retained.
Who can see the stories I make?
Only you, unless you choose to share one. Sharing creates a secret link — anyone you send it to can read that story, so treat the link as private. Shared stories are deliberately kept out of search engines.
Can I print the book?
Yes. A finished story exports to a print-ready manuscript, so you can have a physical copy made as a gift.
